you can feel the crew worked very hard to make it feel like pre-movie and i think they succeeded in alot of ways, especially the atmosphere of pre-movie

Wasn't A Pup Named Scooby-Doo using digital ink and paint WAY before Caillou? The Scooby-Doo Wiki claims that the first season used it, and the other seasons used cel animation. If this is the case, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo is the only show that started out as digital ink and paint and switched to cel animation.

I see dot crawl in the second screenshot, probably a rotten print.
2004 produced season 4 does have different line work than the rest of post movie but it still looks cleaner than season 3 does.

there's something i noticed in pre-movie that's very weird/cool. SpongeBob grows up each season and matures season 1 SpongeBob was very childish and closer to his season 4-5 counterpart season 2 SpongeBob is a bit more mature than season 1 bob but still very childish season 3 bob is way more...

Some late season 7 episodes still look different than season 8 does. It was the episodes at the tail end of the season that were indistinguishable from season 8; Whelk Attack, The Wreck of the Mauna Loa, and Krusty Dogs are a few examples.
