Second trailer released!

1) thanks for the gifs!
2) Never realized that was soda plastic
3) Break those moves Squidward. "Heel toe, heel toe"
I have to admit that I noticed the plastic six pack rings right away.. It's so mean, but so very accurate as a weapon against sea creatures! Figures poor Squiddy would be the victim of one.

But, dang, has he got some moves! :D I could watch those GIF's for hours..

FAO Supmandude and other people like us who care about this minute level of detail - the Nickelodeon upload, once again, has slightly richer colour:

Awesome! Thanks. :)

Why is SpongeBob so happy about this? :notetoself:
I was wondering about that when I saw it too, but I just realized SpongeBob's got a feather with him and is going to rewrite the story with it. He probably uses Squidward's ink for it. :P

Pretty good trailer. Though the inking joke was a little unnecessary (not a fan of that kind of humor), but whatever. :P Reminds me of the joke from T.U.F.F. Puppy episode "Pup Daddy" when the younger Keswick says that he inks when he's nervous. Still can't wait to see this when this comes out in 3 months.

This deserves all of my likes.

This was a pretty good trailer. A lot of the jokes worked ("This guy has like, 5 heads!"), and it's always great to see more scenes from the movie.

Maybe they're mistakenly classing the first trailer as a teaser. It is weird that there wasn't a teaser trailer and they launched right into Trailer #1.

All I can say about the trailer is....

That woman with the blue phone deserves an Oscar for her amazing acting!
That girl's parts in both trailers were both pretty bad. Both of them felt like something that belongs in an Alvin an the Chipmunks movie and that has me worried about having their writers. :I Hopefully there aren't too many gags like that, though. I'm kind of worried it will feel like a 50/50 split of hilarious jokes done by funny cartoonists and unfunny "modern" crap from the Alvin and the Chipmunks writers.

They weren't the worst gags ever or anything in this and I'm more than willing to ignore them since the rest of the trailer is so awesome, I'm just worried there will be more gags like this. Imagine how unfunny and out of place it would be if they found a sunbather's iPhone and listened the the latest Pop song from the well know artists of today.

May I remind you that these writers were responsible for Kung Fu Panda 1-2 and Monsters vs Aliens? Were they bad? No, these movies weren't a critical and financial disappointment. Many people like it.

Haven't seen any of those movies, but even if they're great, they're not the same tone as SpongeBob at all and I don't see the point in ignoring their track record of also doing terrible crap like the Alvin and the Chipmunks movies. All the Alvin movies were financial successes too, but they suck and aren't funny.

Maybe. :P

Alvin and the Chipmunks was a financial success that a lot of people like too. With the type of movie this is (cartoon characters in the real world), there's a lot of potential for really terrible jokes like they did in those movies.

I'm not being pessimistic as I'm sure the film will be great, I'm just worried that those writers might just add everything I hate from these type of movies and that certain parts would feel nothing like SpongeBob.
