The LEGO Movie's first trailer was in late July, and the second was on October 30th. If that's standard for movies (I wouldn't know) we're getting a new trailer soon.
Hmm, I'm not sure but I'm not gonna watch anymore trailers. (I don't want the spoilers)

Boxoffice.com - Facebook Watch

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water had the second best percentage increase on the week as it rose to 222,674 likes. With it just over three months away it has a lot of time to pad those numbers and should have no problem surpassing the magic 1 million like mark. SpongeBob is such a pop culture darling amongst younger audiences it should do very well on social media in general as its release nears.

Yup. If Mega Bloks is accurate, there's gonna be a time machine.

Anyone know what the narrator says at 1:28 and what it translates to? It sounds like "don sexy". :P

Second trailer and movie app to be released in Q4'14. In other words very soon, because we're already in Q4'14.

And there's some more exciting news for the flowering years of 2015, 2016, and 2017. A new creative team, a big rebrand in 2016, new sponsors, new episodes, new collaborations, major promotion partners, a movie application, off-channel marketing (meaning something involving SpongeBob and NOT Nickelodeon), and a Steve is probably coming back to the show. Looks like things are looking up for SpongeBob.

Surprised DMAP didn't post this, but apparently Billy West has done some voice acting for the new movie.
I did post it.

Like I said in the other thread, it is important to remember that this is mostly UK specific. It doesn't mean the show itself is getting a new creative team (though there will have to be new people joining after the movie since other people moved on). Viacom UK releases brochures like this every quarter detailing upcoming marketing strategies for the UK channel and most of it doesn't have much bearing on what's going on in the US.

However, the movie marketing section does have relevance since it will probably be similar around the world given that the movie is coming out in early 2015 pretty much everywhere. Also, if there are plans for 2017 in the UK then we can assume SpongeBob will still be around in the US then too.

20th anniversary is looking feasible at this rate. :bdayplank:

Nah, reusing a song from the 1st movie is a bit lazy in my opinion. They're gonna have to try harder than that.
Ween could make a new song for the movie. Or, maybe... you know... someone else?

Just noticed something:

The title says "28 januari in de bioscoop" which Google Translate translates as "January 28 at the movies" (although, I assume a better translation would be "In theaters January 28".) So apparently the movie will be released in the Netherlands before America.

I would love for them to play Ocean Man again, but c'mon. They're better than that.

Yes, it says so on the Dutch website too. The Australian website goes even earlier with 2014. That's over a month earlier than the domestic release and it's in an English-speaking country, so if it's true I'd worry about piracy.

Especially since this movie is about a pirate.
