I wasn't active for long, but I do appreciate the history behind this forum and the fact that without ssj and abney's leadership, it probably would have gone the way of United SpongeBob (Anybody remember that place? Me neither.)

Ol' USB. That's where I'm from.

What happened was that the admin of that site went to college to fulfill his dreams of becoming a great computer engineer (he's doing pretty well these days too - works at Oculus which Facebook just bought for 2 billion dollars or something) and didn't really leave the keys to anyone else, the site stopped getting updated and stopped attracting new members.

Nobody's fault, though. The forum was active for far longer than it should have been because the people on that board just happened to make up a great community. Heck, two USB members got married a year or so ago.

SBM here, on the other hand, has tons of fresh content and lots of work put into it. I mean, posting weekly TV ratings for 10 years without fail... that's impressive.
