Why do people hate 3-D computer coloring on Spongebob?

I heard mention about 3-D computer coloring, and hating it in the results, WHAT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN digital ink and paint, and 3-D computer coloring, I don't notice any differences, can anyone tell me what's the problem?

3D computer coloring has never been how SpongeBob was done. This is some false information from the SB Wiki. Some people don't like the color choices in Season 4 (and I kind of agree, they weren't the best) and they blamed it on a non-existant issue. The real problem was just the palette choices.

It's a made up term. They still use digital ink and paint. They have been since season 2.

They're really just looking for an argument against the Post-Movie episodes that doesn't exist. How do I know this? Back when Season 9A was getting more positive reception, they claimed the animators had gone back to digital ink and paint, just because they felt it was as good as the older seasons. Honestly, if anything can be said about Season 9's animation, it's that it looks even more like computer colouring.

The animation itself is fine, but but the recent model sheets are so symmetrical, they're ugly.
