Sometimes I consider Hello Bikini Bottom to be one of the best of the show's run, sometimes I consider it one of the worst, it depends on my mood. A Friendly Game had potential, but it ultimmately turned into "let's destroy Squidward's house because we can't make an exception to this rule" thing and it's really not done creatively, which kinda makes it a little hard to bear at times, especially when they difrectly hit Squidward's face...


Oh yeah, and Frozen Face-Off's number one! Even if I would have preffered Oral Report, this is outstanding and easily the best special since Season 4. (Also, I don't think anyone I know validly dislikes it...). It's a SpongeBob Christmas is, highly problematic, but enjoyable nonetheless.

My favorite Season 8 episode is probably "Mooncation". Ironically enough, that one was co-written by Sean Charmatz, who was behind such baddies as "The Splinter" and "Stuck in the Wringer".
