Request for SpongeBob Character Shipping fanart

I posted in my thread "The Many Outfits of SpongeBob SquarePants" about potential shipping in the show and I thought it would be cool to see fanart for the following characters:

SpongeBob & Pearl ("Spearl")

Mr. Krabs & Sandy ("Kandy")

Patrick & Sandy ("Pandy")

Squidward & Sandy ("Squandy" or "Sandward")


Nothing is off limits BTW

Meaning if you want to draw something like SpongeBob & Mrs. Puff you can!

I'd do it myself but IDK how to draw the characters besides SpongeBob

I don't agree with character shipping, but if you're really going to continue with this, please consider the age gap between Mr. Krabs and Sandy...

I agree, my friend. I’m working on potentially drawing some art for the ships you suggested, like Krabs x Sandy and SpongeBob x Pearl.

Krabs x Sandy = (the cutest ship name ever) Kandy

I will post this image to my DeviantArt account “Lancy-Loud” very soon. I created this image, and you can clearly see my signature on the art. I will definitely add some more detail to the picture later, like shadowing and blush.



I drew the characters in a more animal-like design because for one, I can’t draw Sandy very well, and two, I think it makes the couple look a whole lot more cuddly and comfortable. Just look at the way Mr. Krabs is petting her. Eeeee!

I’ve never really shipped this before. Sandy is not my favorite character, and when I ship Krabs, it’s usually with Plankton or Mrs. Puff. I disregarded my taste is ships and dove right into this whole “Kandy” idea, and you know what? I think I like it. Mr. Krabs and Sandy both have thick accents, both play into their stereotypes, and they’re also both very strong. I think it’s cute! ❤

Also, Mr. Krabs can chill on land longer than, let’s say, a fish. Most crabs can survive on land for a while as long as their gills stay wet, and with all Sandy’s gizmos and whatnot, I think Mr. Krabs could chill on land even longer!

You may not know, but Squidward x Sandy is a very common ship, I myself already drew it, people call it Squandy.

I myself am neutral to them but Sponge out of Water proved they could work

Some people love it. I know a guy on furaffinity that draws a LOT of Squandy.

Using that logic, hetero couples wouldn't work too... That's kinda prejudiced... Kids needs to understand that love between the same sex is real and happen... But ok let's not turn this into some kind of argument.

I really have no issue with them

There's MUCH worse pairings in cartoons (and even SpongeBob itself!) than Sandy & Squidward

"Squandy" has been hinted at as far back as "Squidtastic Voyage" from Season 4
