Every Episode of SpongeBob Reviewed: A Video Series

Yeah I agree, besides getting around the terrible episodes, the other scumbob ones are just so boring. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
 
My favorite slide picture was the A Life in a Day one.
Epilogue I didn't see.
The live action bits with the slide whistle were funny and I didn't see them coming.
I think the video was long enough, S6 has 47 episodes.
 
I think it's best if I just stay away from this topic until I've actually seen the Season 6 video.

Ok, so I didn't say anything yesterday, because I didn't want to be a jerk and spoil the seasonal rating like some other people would, because I do have to admit that I did watch the video yesterday, but now that most of you have seen it, I am going to say that I loved in the same way I loved the season 5 video for being well made and the most solid of the 7, and like I said a few moths ago, on a presentation level season 2 was a step up from 1, 3>2,Movie>3,4>Movie and so on and so forth, but at this point season 6 feels like a fantastic refinement of the formula, it's like every new Mario game, the formula was perfected with season 5, but what we have to focus on now is making the perfected formula still fresh and season 6 does this very well, and I honestly agreed with pretty much every rating with the exception of most of the good and meh episodes (no I'm not a pre movie fan boy, season 6 sucks in my eyes). But anyway fantastic video, it can only get better, however this isn't really his fault, but I will mention that maybe it could've been one big video, and a couple of smaller videos labelled season 6 part 2, or something, because season 7, and 8 really don't want to end, but hey at least season 9 is short?(I haven't seen a single season 9 episode except squid baby, I was that curious)
 
I finished watching your Season 6 review. It was amazing! The best part was the epilogue because Nick sent you a pie that said ''Sorry about The Splinter''. You didn't want the pie but a person behind you made you eat the pie! I think that is why they call you Pieguyrulz! :D I also agree that Choir Boys is a horrible episode. That episode is in my bottom 20 episodes of SpongeBob. Good luck on your Season 7 review. Their are a lot of terrible episodes. The worst two of that season are One Coarse Meal and A Pal For Gary. Both of those episodes are in my bottom 10 episodes of SpongeBob. Here's how many good, meh, and scumbob episodes their are in Seasons 1-6 in your opinion:
Good: 152
Meh: 40
Scumbob: 51

I have three questions for you:

1. Which episode is the best out of all of these?
Pizza Delivery, Sailor Mouth, Chocalate with Nuts, Duncues and Dragons, Krabs a La Mode, or The Slumber Party?

2. Which episode is the worst out of all of these?
I Was A Tennage Gary, Party Pooper Pants, Good Neighbors, Atlantis Squarepantis, or Choir Boys?

3. Are you going to review The Fairly Odd Parents?
I think that is a good show you should review on.

Well, if it's supposed to be a treat for everyone that stayed to the very end, then since I missed the last minute I'm not gonna go back, then it would ruin it, wouldn't it? Unless it's something really good...like, really good...

To anyone who hasn't seen it yet, just to be safe I spoiled it.
Overall, it was the best one yet. It was great. How I disagreed with a lot of his choices, and yet still loved hearing his thoughts is great. AND FINALLY, SOMEONE ELSE WHO LIKES NO HAT FOR PAT. UGH, I've seen people constantly complaining about it and I'm like "wtf it's a great episode". And he put Shuffleboarding a meh. That's what it is. IT'S NOT AS HORRIBLE AS EVERYONE IS MAKING IT OUT TO BE. And it's not necessarily good, it's not ScumBob worthy though. It's just a meh. However, he was, as the trend of EVERY REVIEWER IN EXISTENCE, way too harsh on Dear Vikings. Seriously, what is your people's problem with that episode? IT'S NOT THAT BAD. That is the only thing I didn't like. He was great at reviewing everything else. A minor nitpick, it was on the little long side, I normally can't sit down to watch a video for two hours. I can make exceptions for Pieguy's great reviews, but tone it down just a little bit. And I thought you were too nice on Pet or Pests. THAT EPISODE DESERVES TO BE KILLED WITH FIRE AND DIE. FOREVER. Choir Boys just barely comes as #2 least favorite in this season. But if you got angered with this season, I'm gonna warn you about S7. It's much worse. Like, a LOT worse. If Choir Boys absolutely killed you, when you see APFG, you'll be begging to watch Choir Boys. Yes, it's that bad. Personally I don't think either episode is as bad is you do/most likely will, but I am usually much nicer on episodes. Overall, great review, couple nitpicks. And a problem with the video, from when you spelled The Clash of Triton wrong, the "O" that you added in stayed at the top of the screen up to the three big notes part. Anyway, I highly recommend this video. It's why I haven't posted all day. Besides school and everything, of course.

If you still haven't seen it, what the :dolphin noise: are you waiting for? DO IT ALREADY!

I have seen a lot of fans that like No Hat for Pat, actually.

Also, I can understand the hate for Dear Vikings. Terrible episode IMO. Spongebob is very out of character, plot is terrible, very non epic, and not very funny IMO.

Really? I always thought the popular opinion was that it was bad. WHICH IT ISN'T
Dear Vikings was hilarious. Albeit the plot may have lacked a little, IT WAS FUNNY.

Clash Of Triton : SCUMBOB!!! This is one of the worst episodes of the show and I hate this special more than Atlantis Squarepantis.

Wow, I'm much more lenient on season 6 than I thought. Some of the universally hated episodes of this season like Boating Buddies, Pets or Pest, Penny Foolish, Choir Boys aren't nearly as bad as everyone says and I at least got enjoyment out of those episodes even though I'll admit that they're flawed. I used to look down on season 6, but now I see it as a tolerable season. It's nowhere near as godawful as season 7 which has more terrible episodes than this season does and most of the worst episodes of this season aren't the exact worst episodes of this show with the exception of Clash of the Triton and Professor Squidward. Even the low points of seasons 4, 5, 7 and maybe 8 are worse than the low points of season 6.
 
Great review PieGuy, and thanks for reminding me why I've subscribed to you.

I loved some of the jokes you made which actually made me laugh, like you trying to skip the Splinter, and how you call No Hat for Pat a good episode when your tone about it at the beginning seems negative.
I was a bit iffy about you critsing the episodes for the lack of continuity but I can understand that (Unlike the mister who has no idea what a joke is).

My only real problem with the review was your favourite episode, The Slumber Party. I understand why and I respect your opinion but... The Slumber Party is my 2nd least favourite episode of Season 6 (right behind Boating Buddies). I found Pearl unlikable for locking her father out the house. I found Mr. Krabs unlikeable for destroying one of his employee's house and then blackmailing him to crash it. Look, I'm one of those people that hates internet reviewer's critising an episode on real life logic, but by the way they're acting like it, it shows that is it part of their logic. I was happy when Mr. Krabs got punished, but I really felt Pearl should have also had a taste of her own medicine. I just found it a generally horrible episode and possibly Pearl's worst performance to date.

Phew, glad I got that off my chest.
But apart from that, you have some really strong and good opinions on the episodes and I loved how this season is enough to finally make you get angry about an episode.

And speaking on Season 6, the day you posted the review, my Season 6: Vol 1 DVD arrived. Quite a coincidence hey?

His review on No Hat for Pat was one of the best things in his video. I got excited when I first heard him say "I like you too, Patrick."
