i mean i don't think this should be canon, given he meets sandy in the show, and they met in season 1, when sponge was an adult.
 
Well then by that logic, then TPSS shouldn't be canon either considering that Patrick has different parents there than the ones in Spongebob.
 
The way I see it, EVERY spin-off and movie are alternate universe reversionings (this is ESPECIALLY true for the Broadway musical)

So the answer is yes

Explain to me why you hate tag youre it
 
In my opinion, Kamp Koral is a hit or miss. Some episodes are good, and some are just bad. On the other hand, I do enjoy the new seasons and after season 3, but it feels like they should update the continuity, maybe make a spinoff of what happens after SpongeBob is the manager of the Krusty Krab 2, and clarify that Season 4 - present is its own universe and kamp koral is in the past of season 4-present.
 
I do think that there maybe something to do with time travel in Kamp Koral, because Young Sandy was told by her older self to stop Young Plankton from stealing the formula, which makes me think/believe that Plankton from the future told his younger self to steal the formula (or a formula that would grant him great power) in order to have control over the world in the future.

And to be honest (in my opinion), I don't see how making Season's 4 to Present non canonical to Season's 1 to 3 and movie, as I think it would cause more conflict between the pre-movie fans and the post-movie to present fans.

But I respect your opinion...
