What burger restaurant was the main inspiration for the Krusty Krab?

The Krusty Krab didn’t have one specific restaurant that it was based off of, but it was based off of the stereotype of fast food restaurants. The model of the Krusty Krab is a lobster trap.

It always reminded me of McDonald's.
Well, the "character mascots" in Krabby Land are a parody of the McDonald's characters (Maybe even the entire play place being a parody of McDonaldland), and the slight allusion to McDonald's kiddie themed marketing found in Mermaid Man vs. SpongeBob definitely gives the restaurant vibes of the Golden Arches.

Not a burger restaurant, but I think KFC’s secret 11 herbs and spices may have provided inspiration for the Krabby Patty having a secret formula.

You already know that today is...

Even though it may be impossible, you know what they should do? Have either some McDonalds' or Burger Kings turn into a few Krusty Krabs in promotion for the third Spongebob movie. They sorta did this for The Simpsons Movie as they transformed a few 7-Elevens into a few Kwik-E-Marts.
