There is only ONE possible time left in SpongeBob's life-cycle where the show can reach a million viewers again:

THE SERIES FINALE.

If Nick does a real finale for this show that is!

Getting even a million viewers of any given modern episode of SpongeBob SquarePants is the equivalent of getting a Silver or Bronze Medal in the Olympics

Getting a billion viewers is the equivalent of getting a Gold Medal

SpongeBob should strive again to get a Gold Medal but in the show's current state IDK if it can acheive it anymore except for major events in the series' life-cycle like the finale

Yet again, they might mess it up by hyping it up way out of control, which SpongeBob fans have learned to tell what is a rating trap and whats not.

Yet again we still have those kids, so yeah.

Maybe Nick would treat the series finale with respect so they can say:

"YAY WE'RE FINALLY RID OF SPONGEBOB!!!"

But something like a series finale absolutely should be hyped especially for a popular cartoon that has lasted for 2 decades
