The Patrick Star Show The Patrick Star Show Greenlight by Nickelodeon in Summer 2021

Perhaps its difficult to ascertain whose one's parents are in his particular breed of starfish.
 
Or perhaps this show doesn't follow any continuity established in the parent series
 
Well, If they really wanted to; they could say Patrick forgot who his real parents were. It has happened before.

Honestly, I don’t think they really want to explain anything continuity related, spin-off or otherwise. The way they explained Sandy in Kamp Koral seemed less “joke’s on you, we planned this from the start” and more “ugh, fine. we’ll put this in so you guys will stop whining”.
Especially since, officially speaking, nothing is canon. They’ve made it clear that consistency has never been a priority, full stop.
 
Well at least Kamp Koral has a explanation...

I never thought in 2021 we would have 2 spongebob spinoffs. Just doesn't sound right. Like, what does this mean for the main show? Can't be working on 3 projects at once. The end has to be near, cuz they'll profit off the spinoffs now. I'm kinda salty about this ngl
 
But I just read on NickAlive that Nickelodeon is on the cusp of a Season 14 renewal

Unless...Season 14 is the end?!?!?
 
I'm at least hoping that they could get to Season 15 (or Season 20)
 
Yeah but no higher than that

I do not want to see SpongeBob SquarePants reach the amount of seasons that Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (started in the same year) has
 
Yeah or The Simpons, at least Spongebob should go up to Season 15 (or Season 20 if possible)
 
Personally I believe it should end at an even number rather than odd
 
I feel like by Season 20 they might have over 500 episodes.
 
Depending on how many episodes are ordered for each season I fear you might be right!

To me, THAT should be the cut-off (the episode cap) and SpongeBob would have more than enough episodes to appease everyone
 
I, at least hope it won't be 13 episodes per Season (if they want to go shorter, they could always go back to doing 20 episodes per Season or heck, 18 episodes per Season)
 
20 seems like a good number of episodes per season for a cartoon

But 13 is a bit short, however I think they only did that because it's SEASON 13
