Just something I stumbled across and found interesting... you don't have to give your last name in this topic and you probably actually shouldn't.

But anyway: http://names.mongabay.com/data/1000.html

Looks like the top 10 are Smith, Johnson, Williams, Brown, Jones, Miller, Davis, Garcia, Rodriguez and Wilson.

According to this list, I have the 149th most common last name in the country, and there are 155,483 more of us. :thumbsup:

I seem to have a propensity for coming up with fictional last names that aren't actual last names.

Which isn't a surprise. It is not uncommon to run into someone with the same last name as me.
