"SpongeBob HeroPants" - Xbox 360, PS Vita, 3DS, Playstation TV - Feb 3rd 2015

I don't really like how the CGI looks in this picture. Also, minor nitpick, but Sandy doesn't really have any eyebrows in the picture.

I still don't think this will be a good game but I'm more interested than I was before and I will probably check it out. The screenshot looks so much better than the PRR cutscenes and the story sounds like it has more to it than monotonous robot bashing.
 
Sounds interesting. I probably won't be getting it since their console choice for this was so stupid, but maybe I'll buy it for 3DS. I wish they'd put it on Wii U, though. I guess it's similar to Truth or Square, in the sense that it isn't really the story of the movie, except it takes place after the movie instead of before. Not sure why they'd release it before the movie is out if it takes place after, though.

Seems to have at least some plot points from the movie. There's the "magical porpoise", the Dark Side of the Moon reference that Rodger Bumpass mentioned and the magic book. In this trailer it is the dolphin who writes on the page and turns them into superheroes. I don't know if that's how it works in the movie too.

Actually yes get it on the gamecube i miss having games on it ;)
 
The feather the dolphin is holding must be the same one SpongeBob has in that movie picture we found.

I'm guessing it's because they already figure it's not going to make that much money to begin with, and I imagine much of the target audience doesn't have an Xbox One or PS4. Though I'm not sure why Wii U wasn't included? It seems to be doing better than before. Regardless, if they want to make money they should actually attempt at making a good game (ex. Battle for Bikini Bottom years and years ago)
 
I think the game should be available for regular Wii (mainly because I probably won't be getting any of those other systems anytime soon).
