SpongeBob Halloween special confirmed to air this year (2017)

I'm very excited for this. The last stop-motion special was amazing, so I can't wait to see how this is handled with the new writing staff.
 
What other halloween specials are in stop motion?

I absolutely LOVED the stop-motion Christmas special, so I'm actually really excited for this, been hoping they'd do another.
 
This is AWESOME! I thought this special wouldn't be released until next year. :P
 
Who else thinks Nick will make all holiday specials in stop motion and kinda ruin them by doing that considering some of there past decisions

But i still think this episode could be amazing if they do it write like it's a SpongeBob Christmas
 
Finally! Seasons 9 & 10 had no Flying Dutchman. And he's my favourite side character! I'm glad they're finally bringing him back for this special.

Only Mr. Lawrence, one of the four writers, is writing the Halloween one.
Luke Brookshier and Derek Iversen left the show.
Marc Ceccarelli is not a writer now.
And show isn't storyboard-based now, remember? Only one, or two as maximum, could write the script, and THEN the episode is storyboarded.

Wow! This is great news, I loved the stop motion in the christmas special. Can't wait!
 
'Sigh' I don't like Stop-motion. So I won't watch this one.
 
I mean if an episode turns out good I don't know why someone would deprive themselves of it because of its format.
