Okay, just for more conformation, the extended Band Geeks review was completely fake. However, I am actually bothered about the flag twirling scene, I mean in Nasty Patty we know the inspector's alive, and even fricking SWS doesn't have Squid killed (although having a full body cast), but come on, at least three fish were killed, all because of Squidward! But that's not a big deal. My main problem now is that the humor is really rushed. I mean, it's great material, but the timing is way off. I just couldn't manage to laugh at every single moment like Chocolate With Nuts, where the humor was so well timed it's in the top 3.
But the animation complaints, Squilliam complaints, song originality complaints, and "very character having a moment" complaints were ALL completely out of nowhere and was for the joke. But those two I mentioned are the main reasons why it's not on the list. (as well as over ration)
But let's forget about that now. It's over.
I definitely realize that the extended review was fake. I also like that you crossed out some parts of it. :) And also, let me commend you for being the first person I've ever seen talk about that death scene. I've always wondered why they even decided to put that scene anyway. I never was really that bothered by it, but I still didn't really like it that much and never really found it that funny. But I can definitely understand why people would be bothered with it, because I'm pretty sure this is the only SpongeBob episode where someone LITERALLY dies! (Actually, Sandy's "twirly bird" died in Sandy's Rocket because of SpongeBob, in Krusty Love Mr. Puff died and turned into a lamp, and in the movie, many fish are seen dead (but still alive if exposed to water apparently) and SpongeBob and Patrick almost died. Neither of these were deaths were seen on-screen though. Also, Hooky and Nasty Patty (which I understand why you wouldn't be bothered by it, since the death was fake) has a somewhat strong theme of death in it. There are also a lot of death people (well, only as skeletons and zombies) seen in One Krabs' Trash.) ANYWAY, I think that it isn't right to put death in a kids' show. In my opinion, that scene wasn't really vulgar in any way, and it just showed people crashing into a blimp. It's still not a very good scene either way, since it's not really funny, it has death in it, and it wouldn't even have a significant impact on the episode if it wasn't there. To sum it all up, I hated how this scene had death, but I'm not too bothered by it because of how the scene was short and only supposed to be cartoony and comical. I am glad that someone FINALLY brought it up though. ^_^
For the pacing, I wasn't really too bothered by it either, but I can see what you mean by how it was too fast-paced and the episode's organization was kinda average. It was just joke after joke, instead of how Chocolate with Nuts was properly organized by slowing it down a bit and putting the jokes in between each scene, instead of making the joke the scene like Band Geeks did. So yes, Chocolate with Nuts was definitely better paced and organized than Band Geeks, which lacked in managing these aspects in a more proper way. (By the way, Chocolate with Nuts was definitely top 3 material, even though it's #9 for me.)
Yeah, those other complaints in the extended review definitely did seem like they came out of nowhere, lol. But I somehow did believe that you actually did think that way about the animation, Squilliam, song, and character moments. But yeah, those other 2 complaints definitely are understandable and agreeable, even though they bothered me slightly less than they did for you.
Yes, I definitely will forget about this and know that it's over. But the only reason I replied to it now is because I really wanted to reply about this when you first posted it, but I just wasn't able to. And I ALWAYS want to reply to what you have to say, even if it is too late to do so. So yeah, I'm glad that I was finally able to reply to this. ^_^
