Really, are we too harsh on post-movie haters?

Talking to some members on this site is like playing chess with a pigeon. You can give him all the reasons and explanations you have, but at the end of the day he knocks over the board, and struts around like he won or something.

I only dislike when post-movie haters that hate post-movie episodes that bash it without giving any valid points, whatsoever. Some haven't even seen HALF of the post-movie series.

It's like saying you hate the taste of lemonade but you've never even tasted lemonade before.

If you're referring to Jibbix here this doesn't make any sense. The pigeon analogy applies to people who stick their fingers in their ears and say "Nope, nope, I win." Jibbix just made a huge, well-reasoned post explaining his view and continues to engage in discussion. He's the opposite of a pigeon.

If you mean in general then it's still an unhelpful comment because it applies to some people both on sides of this issue. And any issue.

I was not talking about jibbix, he just so happened to comment on what I said. The comment only applied to people who don't want to listen to any reasons that Post movie haters give.
 
I'm a post movie hater, and I have so many good points, and I used to be like one of you guys who like the post movie episodes. Here's one of my reasons why, and I also have a Spongebob VS The Goo Review in the works currently as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1ldriGBKBU

I meant that Krusty Dogs rips on Bossy Boots. And I may or may not remove Two Faces of Squidward so I don't wanna give my opinion on that yet.

Give good arguments that don't come down to "I don't like this episode so it's bad" or "I didn't feel like this episode was like an old classic so it's bad" or "I just didn't like it" (which is perfectly fine, but it's not an argument or a point whatsoever.). Pretending to like Post-Movie to not be hated is stupid. Back up your points. Give examples of why Post-Movie is bad. Give arguments that can't be broken down in two seconds and maybe we can go somewhere. But honestly.

As "Post-Movie Haters", what exactly is it that you're hating on? All of Post-Movie? Season 4? Seasons 5-7, which mostly everyone has agreed on as bad? What are you hating? Why are you doing so? Everyone generally dislikes Seasons 5-7, so are you really a hater if that's what you dislike? If you dislike every single episode of SpongeBob from Fear Of A Krabby Patty to now, then you seriously need to re-evaluate why you're on this site anyway (and also your opinions, tbh, because it's pretty much impossible to hate every single one).

It's not a matter of disrespect. It never was. It's a matter of being sick of a group of people that generally hate for no reason. Strive to be the BubbleBuds, the RSFs of the fandom, not the Mr. Enters or the MoBros'. Mr. Enter may like some Post-Movie, but his reasons for disliking the episodes he does are, frankly, stupid, and the same goes for MoBros. Be smart, be reasonable, don't go overboard and scream like you're 5 years old, and maybe, just maybe, if all of you do this, the Post-Movie haters will be regarded as fun debaters instead of bitter screamers.

The 5th paragraph hit a nerve.

One of the easiest ways of telling whether a post-movie hater is a whining, bandwagoning babbler or an actually coherent critic with independent reasons is by asking their opinions on excellent post-movie episodes.

Did that once. The guy said "I don't know about Overbooked but it's post-movie so it can't be good. SB's loyal fandom is so delusional."
