Comment: A true classic. One of the most memorable Season 2 episodes. I definitely has the humor to make it memorable! I liked how SpongeBob was really the only main character in this one. It definitely gets lots of points for being unique. We get to see Mrs. Puff come up with an "evil plot", and we also get to see her house for the first time, and the only time besides Pranks a Lot and Growth Spout, I believe, where her house was only shown for a few seconds. Did anyone else notice that Puffy's picture frame is a picture of her when she walked in and saw the SquarePants Family?! :xdmagic: Speaking of the SquarePants family, They played a great role in this episode. Harold SquarePants kissing Mrs. Puff's fin for approximately 15 seconds right in front of his wife is just a great example of the old (and better) SpongeBob humor.

This episode worked great without any main characters. SpongeBob might have been annoying at times, but it sure was funny, especially when he got into a bit of hot water with Mrs. Puff. It was really funny how Mrs. Puff kept her cool to get SpongeBob out of her classroom FOREVER! FOREVER! FOREVER! But when Mrs. Puff stole Boaty from Bobby, that's when things got amazing hilarious! SpongeBob was truly at his finest. His lip-finger thing was the best thing ever!! :w00t: That reaction and his reaction to "EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION?!!? OH NO!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" :sbx:

A good choice. My favorite boating episode, but I'm not a big fan of boating school episodes.

Neither am I. And I can tell you that I beleive there is only one more left on this list. :naughty: Did I mention that I also wrote a book about No Free Rides? :p

If you think I'll let go just for a little...

EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION?!? OH NO!

(sorry, that was the only pic of the sign I could find)

YOU PUT NO FREE RIDES THAT LOW?

:orly:

Yes, I did, rly. But hey, I was REALLY mad when it got eliminated first from Season 2's Save An Episode! :O

Comment: So this is the episode that the reactions are unkown to me. I bet you a lot of people haven't seen this one. Well, some people found the faces disturbing, but I thought they were what made the episode great! :magicwink: I didn't even think that this was going to be the best of the Super Spongey Square Games, probably because, like Jibbix said, the clips looked like they had Season 6 material in them. But it ended up being funny! Of course, the ending with all the Face Freezes was awesome. :p

As for characters, there were sure a lot with cameos, but SpongeBob and Patrick were kind of immature, but not obnoxiously yelling in Suqidward's yard, so it was OK. Mr. Krabs was at some of his post-movie best in this episode. Like Hooky (pre-movie), he was being more of a father figure than a cheapskate, which I really liked. He actually was concerned about his litte fry cook and his pink friend! Sandy wasn't at her best, insulting Bobby & Patty at Goo Lagoon (although she was right), and her "calm hands" close-up wasn't too pretty, either. As for Squidward, he had the best Face Freeze by FAR. Who cannot think that Squiddy crying while laughing is darn hilarious?!

Scaredy_Pants.jpg

Comment: A classic right here, the first holiday-based episode in SpongeBob. I remember it from all of the times I watched it on demandwhen I was really little. Of course, you can't really consider it overlooked, because it's sort of like a "special" and it has so many funny moments, but if somebody were to list one holiday special within 2 seconds, than if they said an episode, it would probably be "Christmas Who?" But this is Scaredy Pants. The one with the credits music that is win! :w00t: Not to mention the SpongeBob & Patrick duo for the majority of the episode. Patrick was just comic gold. He thought SpongeBOb was scaring everybody, and of course, when SpongeBob (the haunted sleeping bag) was seen to be SpongeBob instead of The Flying Dutchman, it was so funny when Patrick said, "Those are my street clothes!" The only part that I didn't really find funny was "DON'T TELL ME!" It was kinda funny, but it felt too much like a filler to me.

SpongeBob worked well as the real main role in this one. He was in scenes with Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs. I haven't talked about Squiddy or Mr. K, but they were as well, great characters. Mr. Krabs wasn't cheap, he was the one that was telling these ol' Sea Tales to his best Fry Cook. Why can't he still be that way? He's terrible when he's too cheap, like Penny Foolish and The Cent of Money. =/ Squidward's bit was funny! "I've come for your pickle!" sounds so wrong in somany ways, yet so hilarious in so many ways! :squidx: The Bikini Bottomites and their cameos weren't too great. Aside from Sandy's bit, the only part I really had a chuckle at was The Haunted Mattress, but it wasn't TOO funny.

The_Lost_Mattress.jpg

Comment: To bring the 70s (like I said before, not the music :band: ) to a close, it's The Lost Mattress. An episode that might make you think that Season 4 isn't so shabby after all. If you look at the first half of Season 4, you'll notice how many great episodes there are. This almost took the cake, but the battle was down to three. It was between Fear of a Krabby Patty, Dunces and Dragons (Lost in Time), and Krusty Towers. Spoilers! :naughty: But of course, this was a classic, yup, classic and suspenseful episode. Although it wasn't such a great idea to have Mr. Krabs have a mattress issue, mainly because he doesn't even have a mattress, he sleeps on a hammock. :xP: But still, the episode was full of funny moments, and it kept you in suspense, especially with Squidward mentioning that it was all his idea to give Krabs a new mattress when he didn't want one! It got even better when Squidward made SpongeBob & Patrick dress up as steak to distract the Guard Worm. Oh, Squiddy! :xD:

Teh characters were great. Who would've thought Mr. Krabs being extra cheap in a totally different way could end up being so funny?! Cash coma. :p Squiddy made this episode more suspenseful by being rather mean, and trying to make Mr. K appreciate him more. SpongeBob and Patrick weren't at their best, but Patrick's 10 mattresses bit is unforgettable. :magician:

Comment: It's not what started it all, but it started what is the best Season, in many fan's eyes, including me. Well, it's the first episode in production order of Season 3, but Nick doesn't have a regular airing schedule. @_@ But aside from Nickelodeon, this episode is just so underrated. I love the ultimate randomness in this episode! Holographic meatloaf and Plankton becoming Mr. Krabs. When I first saw this episode, I had no idea what was going on! The episode started out great, though. Plankton did something similar with Old Man Jenkins in Krabs `a la Mode. Then Plankton started saying crazy things like "She's as big as a whale!" about Krabs' daughter, Pearl, and telling Karen that her parents must have been part computer or something! How could that get funnier? Well, he had that deep voice to go along with it. :p

The SpongeBob and Plankton bonding was... interesting. =] Although SpongeBob was kind of annoying. Even if there was that sauce bit, it was still kind of a filler. With one of Bobby's weakest pre-movie pre-formances (hehe:hehe:), is one of Plankton's best preformances. An unbelievable amount of funny quotes! :clapping: As for Squiddy, his cameos were funny, and so were Krabs'!

Comment: You don't have to see this episode for a looooooooooooong time, but you can still remember one thing: Pretty Patties. :D That is NOT what makes this episode as awesome as it is. It's definitely SpongeBob & Patrick, getting away from the red, sweaty cheapskate Krabs! This episode was such a classic, with funny, but childish humor, such as Patty giving money to people, instead of getting payin' customers. But in the end, it was great to see SpongeBob want to go back to work without crying about it. Squeaky pickles rule! :teef: But the most memorable part of the episode would probably be, "Purple is my favorite color!" I don't even think it's purple. :xP:

Now we're onto Roadie's absolute FAVORITE part, the characters! :magician: It was pretty much half and half in this episode, and no, I'm not referring to the coffee. :rofl2: Mr. Krabs and Squiddy were a bit too much like they were in Help Wanted, bashing on SpongeBob. Except Mr. Krabs was a lot worse. He was real cheap, like in Season 8. I miss when Mr. K was really cheap and things didn't go his way. =/ SpongeBob had some funny moments, like squeaky pickles and when he talked about how he tried burning/burying the money, but Patrick takes the Pretty Patty here. :patx:
