Live-Action Dora the Explorer Movie

:patgross:
...why, just why? Well, the article says it's an "effort" still, so maybe nothing will come of it...

In all honesty, I don't see how an educational program can actually be adapted into a film. The whole concept just seems weird for me.

also wHY is it live-action 0/10 would not explore

Sesame Street was able to make "Follow That Bird," which was great in my opinion. That succeeded because the characters were strong enough to hold their own story, as well as the movie having an underlying message that the show might not have been able to teach. Dora the Explorer? Not so much. But other than Follow That Bird there aren't any successful examples that come to mind.

Um...okay?

I'm past the stage of hating on Dora so I can't say this really bothers me, but it just seems like a strange decision.

You guys are still posting about this?

Don't judge everything that's been said by people, only trust official announcements from the actual people who WORKED on Dora.

We don't need this.

To the guy who came up with this idea IMO:
