It's considered funny when Mr.Krab's arms fall off due to being in shock. But then you remember that he's just meat and flesh inside his shell. So when his arms drop off, we don't see his flesh arms which, I assume are inside the shell covered arms. Does Mr.Krabs withdraw his flesh arms when his shelled covered arms fall off?

There's probably more to crabs that I don't know about.
 
I think "body parts falling off due to stress" is just a random, silly running gag in the show. My headcanon is that it's the body's response to anxiety and it sheds limbs so they can run from danger faster, but they grow back quickly

Why can Mr. Krabs turn into gold or silver bars or why can he physically make money come out of his body is what I want to know.
