Is Karen Evil Herself?

I love SBM
We all know Plankton is, but what about Karen? She just mainly does what her husband asks, whether it be for advice on stealing the formula or analyzing the ingredients of a Krabby Patty. Karen probably doesn't care too much for the forumla on her own, but in episodes like F.U.N. she really wants Plankton to get it. Sure, she can be considered Plankton's partner in crime technically making her evil, but she never deliberately tries any scheming of her own. What do you think?
 
That's a very good question. I guess I'd say yes because she does often help Plankton with his plans, but it's unclear whether she actually cares about the success of these plans or if she's simply trying to support/help Plankton. I do remember Plankton mentioning in Single Cell Anniversary that he and Karen often talk about their dreams of world domination, which would imply that Karen wants world domination as well, so I guess she is evil, but she isn't as upfront about it as Plankton is.
 
I voted no.

I guess she married Plankton without knowing his true identity. But since "till death to them part", she's stuck with him.

That was poorly written wasn't it.

And yes, that does make sense. She may be on Plankton's side (because he's her husband) but doesn't necessarily have evil intentions herself.

I love how they weith their differences can be so wonderful yet most couples nowadays are so dysfunctional :P
 
Yes and no. She can be evil like Plankton sometimes but there's no denying that she does nice things as well.
 
I'd say no since she seems to be neutral in most of Plankton's evil plans. Although she reminded him to get the formula in the episode Plankton!. But overall, she's in the middle when it comes to being evil or not since she doesn't act evil herself.

I think she was designed to be Plankton's right wing. Trusted love of his life. But as I explained on my topic, she undergoes a development which (in my opinion at least) alters her character completely for the better. She turned into Squidward. Being sarcastic and actually having normal emotions with relatable depressive behaviour. Maybe she is evil, but she is a realist. She knew that as long as her husband does all the work, they will never succeed. So she's thinking "I'm just gonna let Neptune settle our fates."
 
I think she just follow her programming: help plankton.

Judging from her character development, maybe her AI improves over the time.
