iPod/iPod mini/iPod shuffle/etc.

They price dropped recently when they introduced the new ones. So I guess you're gonna have to wait about another year for the price to go down again.

All my friends here have iPods or iPod mini's ...

My friend David Milne (who happens to be the son of the richest guy in Scotland ... nice choice of friends, i know ... just planning for the future ... ) has his iPod personalized and everything.

But I think that iPods are a ripoff because you could get a similar mp3 player for much cheaper. :P

Yes, i know the iPod plays AAC (which are better ...) . But there are other players which play WMA (which is also good, even if it is microsoft ... )

I'm waiting for OGG player :dots:

EDIT: OGG is an open-source, very good file format. For those who didn't know.

People say ipod mini's are a waste of money because they can only hold 1000 songs...

ONLY 1000 songs! that is such an nunderstatement.

Well.. considering that iPods hold 10,000... yes u say ONLY 1000.. :D

And they hold LESS than 1000 songs cuz the software that runs the iPod is loaded too.. meaning 3.##GB of space.

Mines came w/ 3.74 GB without any songs.

I've got 300 songs on iTunes, and I've barely got all the music I want.

i wonder how much in philippine currency is the ipod shufle. i want the ipod shuffle even if it can only hold uo to 240 images

iPods do not hold images.. they hold music.. unless u get an iPod photo..

As of today.. if you wanted to get an iPod shuffle (120 songs) at the US price of $99 (w/o tax), in the Phillipines.. It'd be 5,385.11 Phillipine Pesos.

Also...

$149 (iPod shuffle with 240 songs) - 8,104.86 Phillipine Pesos
$199 (iPod mini) - 10,824.61 Phillipine Pesos
$299 (iPod) - 16,264.11 Phillipine Pesos

Of course, these are all without tax.. so yeah.. (but I don't know if the Phillipines has tax)
