How do we know that Fred's last name is Rechid?

I know Fred's first name was confirmed in Patty Hype, but his last name... where has the fandom actually got that from?

(in case any of you don't know, Fred is the MY LEG!! guy)
 
Sometimes characters can have confirmed names that aren't really heard in the series. Nothing new really but it is interesting.

I have no idea. (I ignore things there they don't have believable resources listed and I can't confirm them through searching.)

While I know the SB wiki isn't necessarily always right, they do seem to have a lot of info that is official and can be found in other places.

Instead of just talking about it, has anyone searched for sources that confirm this or not?

It kinda bites that the creators don't visit here. On a Darkwing Duck fan forum I'm apart of, the creators and various crew members do visit and have done interviews with the admin/webmaster. It was useful for clearing up such rumors.

Yes, I have.
The only source I can find for anything is Patty Hype itself, which reveals Fred.
However, I may need to check out the book Cha mentioned.
