It's not up to him, it's up to Disney. Besides, I bet it would only be a TV movie. The last Disney cartoon to get a theatrical movie was Teacher's Pet and that bombed.AcidicDragon said:I think I've read somewhere he might also do a movie instead of a third season. :dunno:

Ehhh
I wouldn't call it boring. I actually think it's pretty funny and entertaining considering it's a Disney show, but you can tell it's really being held back by being a kid's show. Ex.- the heartwarming moments that are a bit overused, Pacifica just saving the family name and being incredibly cheesy about it and the characters narrowly escaping certain death.
I sorta have a feeling Hirch finds the fandom incredibly annoying and wants nothing to do with them. For example, him calling out that Sqoou moron. (I have personal experience with that loon, eeck.) Him getting grossed out by someone who found Bill hot, and him poking fun at Pinecest, which in and of itself is retarded.

It's so overrated at every second people are over praising it, though personally I think it's incredibly boring. Hard to sit through an entire episode without falling asleep.
This is a problem with almost all kid shows-except those on Cartoon Network. The reason why Cartoon Network was the only network I watched when I had cable was because the writers had freedom, without much or any executive meddling. Heck one episode of Adventure Time has a main character making out with their hand. Disney is very guilty of this. I'm telling you, Gravity Falls would be a lot better if they just left it alone. If they didn't executive meddle, their shows would go on for longer because they would hit to more audiences then just 6-11 year olds, which would give ratings. As you've probably noticed, this community seems to think CN is the best kids network. The thing is CN is doing the best and progressing farther forth, while Nick and Disney are just stuck in a never ending standstill unless they change soon. There's other problems these networks are facing but they need to start looking at their competition to improve and get farther, and then they will actually have competition, because right now it's pretty a Krabs vs. Plankton scenario.I wouldn't call it boring. I'm so glad someone on the Internet dislikes this show! Not because I dislike it, far from it, actually, but with the amount of praise GF is getting, it's surprising to see someone who genuinely doesn't care for it for once. Thank you for that.BagelsinEurope said:Thank god this show is ending. It's so overrated at every second people are over praising it, though personally I think it's incredibly boring. I don't blame him.WhoWantsStancakes said:I sorta have a feeling Hirch finds the fandom incredibly annoying and wants nothing to do with them. It's fine if you don't like it but that doesn't mean you have to be happy that it's ending. I mean, I don't like TTG but I wouldn't throw a party if it got cancelled.BagelsinEurope said:Thank god this show is ending. The thing is it seems like every corner in the internet someone is giving it some sort of praise and I can't get past it. I can't ignore it when 800 people say "zomg that new gravity falls was so amazing" and then I watch it and I have no interest whatsoever...which means that I can't be part of all these chats and things because I don't have interest on the subject. Seriously, I've been to chats where the only thing they are talking about is a GF episode of some sort. SBC is like heck when a new GF airs. And I want to like it, I've tried to participate in the discussions...but, I just can't. I can't take interest in this show. And if it ends, I can be part of these communities again. I'm sorry if this is coming off as rude, I don't mean to be, but this is how I feel. It's fine if you don't like it but that doesn't mean you have to be happy that it's ending. Ironically, Gravity Falls is one of the few Disney cartoons to not be neutered by executive meddling (Tron Uprising, anyone?). I respect your opinion however, even if I enjoy the series myself.BagelsinEurope said:This is a problem with almost all kid shows-except those on Cartoon Network. It's not that adult, guys. I'm pretty sure every show has done something like this, at least once.SBManiac!!!!!! said:www.youtube.com/watch?v=WovWyEc3Prs
That being said, I think Gravity Falls gets away with a lot more than you realize. For example, this clip.
