A revival of a topic by Grumpy Squidward Guy.
What cliches in TV and movies are you tired of? For me:
Pirates saying nothing but "Yo-ho!" and "Shiver me timbers!"
The "everybody laughs" ending
Old people being kid-haters
Bone-crushing hugs
"I think I broke my spleen!"

I thought that
"A revival of a topic by Grumpy Squidward Guy."
and
"What cliches in TV and movies are you tired of? For me:"
were part of the list for a second

Anyway, I'm sick of that "mysterious girl that keeps private and has this cool secret place that she hangs around in" trope. I even saw it in the Goosebumps movie!!

I get tired of the "Super edgy, italian styled (as in, appearance) bully with his goons" cliche

-The Wilhelm scream
-Stereotypical characters (i.e cheerleaders are hot (female dogs))
-Damsel-in-Distress
-"this isn't what it looks like!"
-..and they lived happily ever after
-Idiot Dads

"Parody" of zombie movies parodying zombie "cliches" like zombies craving for brain, or shuffling slowly woth arms outstretched.

Except those things are never a cliche in the first place. There was never any serious zombie movie where the zombies only eats brain or do the other thing. They're parodying something that wasn't even there.

-Football cliche where when the offense suddenly livens up the defense does
IF IT'S A MORAL ISSUE THE DEFENSE IS STILL DOWN AND HAS DONE HORRIBLE UNLESS IT'S JUST BEEN THE OFFENSE MESSING UP IT'S ON BOTH SIDES THAT AREN'T PERFECT AUGHH

- 360 panoramas around the characters.
- Idiot characters in general (Which aren't bad, if they're funny)
- Annoying characters

Amen to idiot dads. Enough already.
Also, not necessarily a specific cliche but including a romance in every single Hollywoord movie nowadays. They're not always needed and are sometimes distracting. It is not required to have a love story in every movie!
Talking animals moving to a new place because they're bored of where they live.

When a character did something silly/funny, there's a reaction shot of other characters reacting to it.

Show creators, we KNOW it is a joke! There's no need to point it out for us!

Honestly I think character reactions make it better since you know comic relief character's moments are awful. It makes you relate to other characters or that's how I see.

"You know I can hear you, right" whenever someone is talking out loud to themselves but trying to be secret.

"It's not what it looks like"

The main characters hating each other at the end of the second act of a movie. Seriously almost every movie does this. The two main characters break up and then we get a montage of both of them being sad and alone and then they get back together to save the day at the end.

The "twitchy eye" face in every CG animated movie ever

Forced love interest

Character pointing out when something is awkward

Misunderstanding/liar-revealed

One character having a specific favorite food that he/she mentions throughout the movie/show

Celebrity voices in animated movies instead of voice actors

i'm tired of overusing *laugh tracks* on DC shows & some unnecessary Nick shows such as Henry Danger etc that are trying to be funny.

-Strict/evil teachers
-That same cat screech being used over, and over, and over....
-ethnic stereotypes
-Jocks that act like total jerks
-Teenagers that act so arrogant
-Gross out humor/potty humor
-Monkeys that go "ooh ooh ah ah"
-THOSE DANG LAUGH TRACKS
-Mary Sue/Gary Stu characters
