Barney to get rebooted by HIT Entertainment in 2017?!

Barney in CGI? Hasn't Hit already killed all their other shows with CGI? The Teletubbies reboot probably gave them the idea.

Except the Teletubbies reboot isn't CGI.

Right now HIT only have 2 TV shows which haven't been rebooted, Mike the Knight (which is CGI to start with) and Pingu.
 
I could see Pingu getting a CGI reboot any time soon. Also couldn't they just show reruns of these canceled shows and sell merchandise if their popular instead of making pointless reboots?
 
Will the whole show be CGI? Or just Barney and the Dinosaurs in CGI with some live-action kids
 
You would think the kids would remain live action.

If Barney's going to be in CGI now the saying he's just a guy in a costume will probably disappear.
 
Let's just hope he doesn't last long. (As if HIT wasn't ruining enough shows to begin with, like Thomas)
 
Barney seems to have been getting killed since 2002 or 2003. This could be like the Teletubbies reboot and the dinosaurs could remain guys in costumes but the special effects will be made in CGI. I'm guess Blue's Clues will be the next popular childhood show to get a reboot. It's like we been getting alot of terrible reboots lately. First Teen Titans Go, then Dora and Friends, then Teletubbies, then Bob the Builder, then Wabbit, now Barney and only God knows why we been getting alot of awful Scoob-Doo reboots this century.
