I agree that the shower gag is weird, but I'm not sure if it's too creepy...and yeah if it was a woman that would be about 10x worse so no thanks.

After pulling the golden spatula from a greasy fry griddle at the Fry Cook Museum, SpongeBob must prove himself to King Neptune he is worthy of being his fry cook and if he loses he can never fry cook again.

Probably one of my least favorite episodes from the first season. It doesn't have a bunch of memorable moments compared to other episodes in this season and there's only a few good jokes in it. Still a decent episode but on the blander side. If the episode kept the plot and added more jokes into it I think it'd turn from one of the least memorable episodes this season to memorable.
