Feel old now?

(Well, somebody had to make a topic. The other one was for its first premiere and this one is for its official release.)

Wow! I'm so old I've got hair growing out of the wrinkles in my liver spots :notamused:

I was 2. I don't even think I knew about SpongeBob.
Same. But, rewatching it, t'was a good movie. Tons of funny moments, and the songs are killer.

Now that we're men, we can do anything
Now that we're men, we are invincible
Now that we're men, we'll go to Shell City
Get the crown, save the town and Mr Krabs

Now that we're men, we have facial hair
Now that we're men, I change my underwear
Now that we're men, we got a manly flair
We got the stuff, we're tough enough to save the day

We never had a chance when we were kids, no no no
But take a look at what Katie the mermaid did, ha ha ha

Patrick, time for some slapping! (both slap knees a lot)

Now that they're men, we can't bother them
Now that they're men, they have become our friends
Now that they're men, there'll be a happy end
They'll pass the test, and finish the quest for the crown

They'll pass the test (slap)
And finish the quest (slap)
They'll pass the test, and finish the quest for the crown!

I will always remember seeing three scenes in theaters:

"Tickets to the SpongeBob movie!"

"We did alright for a couple of goofballs..."

"This is the greatest day of my life!" "Ocean Man, take me by the hand, lead me to the land..."

Yeah, I was two, like other people were. :P

Of course I never saw it, but I think I started watching SpongeBob (on DVD and VHS) at that time. I think I had a DVD of the movie when I was little and I saw it, but it got lost and I don't even hecking remember.

I honestly remember most of my experience seeing it on opening day after school. I got that cereal they had for the promotion and I remember a few parts the audience reacted at like SB stepping on Plankton or the death scene that tore my little heart.

I was 5 when this movie came out. Time flies...

It's been 11 years already? Man time flies by fast.

I may have lost my DVD copy a couple of months ago, but at least I have it on Netflix(for now)

I remember seeing it twice on opening day only really remembering the beginning of the movie, the part where SpongeBob and Patrick were getting tired after gloating to the Gas Station hicks, the dry up scene and the final shot of the movie. I was scared to see the dry up scene again when I saw it the second time because I was 5 years old at the time which is probably why I remember so little of it. It's odd though because despite seeing it two times in the same day, I didn't even like it a lot as a kid and still kind of don't. I mean, there are parts that I think are funny and that I fondly remember but I don't really like the movie to be honest, it doesn't feel like SpongeBob to me and it didn't back in 2004. I prefer SOOW personally.
