i'll probably update this page with more art as i draw more, hopefully. i have really bad depression so i tend to have bouts of being unable to draw anything at all, haha. i hope you liked my art!!

this is sudra, a character i made for dnd despite the fact that i don't have anyone to play it with. he's a grumpy true neutral bard with delusions of grandeur about his musical talent. his supposed musical excellence is to make up for the fact that he secretly hates himself. he's good at heart though. can you guess where i got that idea from? :xP:

hey i swear i'm not dead!! here's a wip of a big project i'm working on... i got like five more character to draw still urgfhfghgfhgfhgfhgh
ignore the fact that there are two eyes missing, i am very lazy and stupid and don't wanna draw eyes. also PLEASE ignore the fact that it looks like sponge's hand is on sandy's butt. i haven't drawn the hands either and it currently looks very unfortunate

once i'm done sketching (i like sketching on my computer bc i refuse to ever plan a drawing so moving stuff around with ease is a huge plus) i'm gonna trace over to paper and finish it with colored pencils =D

btw compare my first pic of drawing human sponge to this. so much more expressive this time around =')

HOOUUUGGHHH I FINISHED IT (kinda)


after many, many days of being too lazy to actually finish sketching it out, i did the dang thing. yay!
soo... i said the final product would be in colored pencils, yeah? yeah, i changed my mind. i started doing so and then had a revelation, that being that i am apparently worse than i thought with colored pencils. sigh. so, instead i'm just gonna wait until i'm done with vacation and have my tablet back so i can make a nice final version. until then, deal with this very bad sketch.

Karen looks awesome on the sketch. Actually scratch that, everybody looks awesome on the sketch! :thumb1:

ty so much ahhh!!! =D it was really fun to draw a big cast of characters that are each unique and expressive, even though it was kinda tricky i think it was worth it
also i totally agree i love karen lol

By the way, what software do you use? If your art is turning out this nice with whatever software you're using, I'd wish to know so what makes it like that! :)

i use clip studio paint and paint tool sai!! they aren't free, but they're both really good (and to be honest i didn't exactly... pay for them. oops.) if you want a free alternative, i suggest medibang!! it's a lot like clip studio, but it's free

to be honest though, it doesn't really matter what program you use if you use it right. for digital art in general, it also helps INCREDIBLY if you get yourself a drawing tablet!! i use a wacom intuos 3, and it's really great =)
