Anybody remember this channel? No? Me neither. This was a short-lived channel in the UK from October 14, 2002, to September 7, 2003. It was short for "Cartoon Network Extreme". It was aimed at guys, with the daytime portion being like Toonami(and, in fact, was called Toonami during the final months of its life), aimed at older kids and teens, and the evening portion being dedicated to their "Triple A"- action, adventure, and anime, aimed at older teens and adults. That strand had Adult Swim shows, extreme sports, dramas, and movies(mostly martial arts flicks).

Remember when I said Toonami was the daytime block's name during the final few months of CNX? Well, on September 7, 2003, Toonami took over. TOM was voiced by a guy who was not Steve Blum. On March 6, 2006, the new Toonami shifted from action to entertainment in general, added live action shows, and got blobby mascots, until May 24, 2007, when it died and got replaced with Cartoon Network TOO, which moved out of it's own channel space to be replaced to Cartoonito.

R.I.P. Toonami in any form(named or otherwise) in the UK 10-14-2002 - 5-24-2007.

Seemed like something cool before CN came in. Mid 2000's will always be one of the most interesting eras in television and this is just a byproduct from it. Cool to look at for historical sake, but besides that it wasn't anything special in my opinion.
