SpongeBob is a colorful and fun show, but we all have to admit a few episodes here and there freaked us out. What episodes creeped you out the most (genuinely)?
I made a list of things that creeped me out;
 • I Was a Teenage Gary - When I first saw this episode, I actually developed a short-lived fear of needles.

 • Squid’s Day Off - When Squidward goes crazy, I get creeped out.

 • Graveyard Shift - Is there a phobia for being scared of a dark, creepy figure coming to your house?

 • Procrastination - SpongeBob's nightmare was kinda terrifying.

 • Nasty Patty - This episode's creepiness is underrated; they think they've killed a man. Just the thought creeps me out.

 • Clams - When Mr. Krabs goes crazy and ties them up, I get chills.

 • Fear of a Krabby Patty - SpongeBob's insanity is very creepy.

 • SpongeHenge - The fact SpongeBob was being chased by crazy jellyfish and hiding for decades was scary.

 • Not Normal - The entire episode is off-putting.

 • Gone - When SpongeBob went crazy, I was freaked out.

 • Squid’s Visit - The fact that SpongeBob copied Squidward's house exactly is creepy, and when Squidward goes crazy it gets worse.

 • Toy Store of Doom - Not as scary as the rest, but I still did get creeped out.

 • Squidward in Clarinetland - Clarinetland is terrifying.

 • One Coarse Meal - This is my least favorite episode ever, and Plankton's insanity makes it worse.

 • Earworm - SpongeBob is so creepy in this episode, especially when he runs around like a dog.

 • Are You Happy Now? - Am I putting insanity on this list too much?

 • Planet of the Jellyfish - I Like the Planet of the Apes reference, but other than that the whole concept is creepy.

 • InSPONGEiac - When SpongeBob hallucinates I actually had nightmares.

 • Don’t Look Now - Not only was it very relatable, but it was very creepy.

 • Sanctuary - Patrick's reaction to the Sanctuary is how I felt.

 • The Legend of Boo-kini Bottom - The whole "steal your soul" and puppet sequence scared me.

 • Krabby Patty Creature Feature - This is the second time I remember zombies being in SpongeBob, and this time it was creepy.

 • Cuddle E. Hugs - A giant hamster you can only see if you eat a "magic sandwich" who wants to eat you. Splendid!

Anyone remember that scream Sandy did when she realized she didn't have any fur at the end of Survival of the Idiots? That genially scares me.

Also, in Sing A Song of Patrick when all the band members died from the song, it scared me so much when I was younger, and still makes me feel uncomfortable.

Oh and one more thing: The End of SpongeHenge, that's all I need to say.

I think he's trying to say that you were pretty easily scared by some of these, and that you weren't really a fan of any major conflict between people. Not saying that, just guessing what he meant.

OMG I almost forgot, that face SpongeBob gives in Whatever Happened to SpongeBob? OH MAN that should be a deleted scene, actually that shouldn't even be a scene at all. It scares me to this very day.

First scenes of "Ghost Host" were really spooky for me as a kid.

The only episode I was genuinely scared of was Fear of A Krabby Patty. For years after the original release I would freak out and have to make sure that the episode wasn't playing and if it was I'd stay out of the tv room for the majority of those 11 minutes. I guess it was a mixture of the music, the whole vibe of the episode and the visuals especially of everyone getting tired and Spongebob going insane that got to me as a kid. Other than that, no other episode really scared me other than some parts of other episodes I found very off-putting such as:

 • The end of Sponge Henge
 • The end of Squid's Visit where Squid goes insane
 • Mr. Krabs going insane during the latter part of Squeaky Boots.

The episode itself didn't scare me, but in the episode, All That Glitters, SpongeBob is crying about his broken spatula, on the floor, rolling about (naked) as you'd expect, then all of a sudden, another SpongeBob pops up, very slowly too, and says, "All that glitters is not gold". He's pretty much staring into your soul, which makes it creepier. It's like they are trying to hypnotize us the moral, :P

Also. Squid's Visit, I don't even know what to think about this episode. It is so strange, but a little creepy! It feels it should have been a Tidal Zone episode, even though that was a one-time gag for No Pictures Please. That episodes a little terrifying too! Lol
