Is Sonic Adventure still fun to play?

To those of you who like Sonic Adventure, you’ll probably know the answer to the age old question- has it aged well?

But is it still fun to play in spite of its poor presentation, close to its 20th anniversary?

For me - yes. It's flawed, but really fun.

Yes, this is my main game to play on Dreamcast. It's still amazing. Hard as crap but still amazing.

I’ve only played the DX port on GameCube, which a lot of fans say is inferior. If you’ve played it, would you say so?

It might have some outdated mechanics today, but its definitely worth it. I have the Gamecube version.

I've never been big on the Adventure games, tbh. Like it can be fun I suppose, but it's not the first Sonic game I'd play.

Yeah it's pretty decent for a Sonic game.

I played DX a ton actually. Enjoyed the game a lot. Would definitely go back and play it.
I remember spending tons of time messing with the Chaos and running through the first level

I'll admit DX is extremely buggy, but even the Dreamcast version had those faces. You know the ones.
True horror. Either way, I still find the game really nice and trying to beat levels as fast as possible with the overpowered spin dash is so fun! It was their first full-fledged 3D sonic game and it shows, but it told an amazing story and had a beautiful soundtrack, so yeah: I still think it's fun to play.

Also, if you have the PC version, get the BetterSADX mod, I have it and it is an awesome mod! It brings back the Dreamcast textures, adds widescreen, and much more!
