I used to play it a lot from 2012-2015, but I really just lost interest around late 2016, a few months before it seemed to explode in popularity. It used to be a site I'd go on every day honestly, surprised I suffered through the excessive lag since my pathetic internet could barely sustain the program.

The kids I work with play Roblox, so naturally I try to play it too. I don't really understand why it's so popular, since it's pretty limited in how you can actually play and manipulate the world. Definitely prefer Minecraft. I could see how Roblox would be more popular among the younger ones though.

I'm not really a fan. The visual appeal of it, plus some of the community members kind of turned me off. I hated how Microsoft modernized Minecraft into an oblivion, but there's an opposite effect, and I think that's happened to Roblox.
