I understand the quality isn't the best, but I feel like it's just good to have even though it is outdated. I would still be using one for playing various SB VHS tapes for collector's sake, sadly it broke though...

I still have a working VCR that I sometimes use. Unfortunately, due to having DirecTV and thus using an HDMI cable to watch TV, I cannot record using it; I can only watch old VHS tapes.

I had quite a few VCRs over the years. Right now I have a Govideo player that I got for cheap at a thrift store. I like to rewatch old tapes sometimes and I plan on recording tv with it for fun once I get an HDMI to RCA converter.

I still have some VHS family tapes, but we lost the VCR a while ago. There’s one at school that I hooked up to a TV and used, but it was too time-consuming to try and do again.

I still use my DVD player that has an attached VCR. I never watch VHS on it, but I sometimes use it to watch DVDs. VHS is an outdated form of media, but I guess there could still be reasons to use it such as collecting purposes, or If you happen to have a lot of VHS tapes from before and don't feel like re-buying or finding those shows/movies on newer forms of media. Some people also like VHS for recording, but I would rather record using DVD or something else.

I still have a VCR, lost the original remote control to it along time ago. I had to buy a universal remote control to pause, fast forward and rewind the the video tape. My local Goodwill store has stacks of VCRs and hundreds of VHS tapes, so there's still a demand for VCRs as a cheap alternative to DVD players, even if VCRs are outdated as a form of entertainment.
