No, this isn't only about the best first episode of each season, but rather the season with the best first 30-60 seconds of a season. A new season of the show started! But do the first scenes show a sign that the season will be great or are we in for a bumpy ride? Let's recap how each season of the show so far started:
Season 1: the narrator introduces us to SpongeBob, and the sponge gets ready for the big day.
Season 2: SpongeBob is watching a sea anemone on television, but changes the channel when Gary comes in.
Season 3: Old Man Jenkins going through his daily life.
Season 4: Mr. Krabs opens the Krusty Krab from 6am-11pm. SpongeBob suggests earlier business times, but Squidward tells him to "zip it".
