What post-movie SB Season do you hate the most? (between the 1st and 2nd SB movie)

Hey guys, SpongeBuddy here. Just asking about the SB season you hate the most. Aside from the premovie season you hate by EmployeeAMillion, what SpongeBob season do you HATE the most between The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004) and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge out of Water (2015)?

For Me: I mostly HATE Seasons 6 to 8 due to cruelty (mean-spirited), stupidity, toilet humor and bad morals.

Season 7, hands down no comparison. I’ve already gotten ahead to the end of it (I’m even starting to review Season 8 episodes), and I hate to spoil things but it doesn’t improve a whole lot post-LOBB.

Season 6. Season 7, while the weakest, just continued to use trends from season 6 (awful slow pacing, gross-out, main characters are OOC, poor excuses for story of the episode, rating traps etc.)
Also, season 6 was much bigger part of my childhood experience of SpongeBob than season 7, that was released sporadically.

I don't really hate any of the post-movie seasons, tbh.
Although Season 5 is my least favorite of the bunch; doesn't stand out to me as much as the other seasons.

Season 7 is by far the worst Season. It has a spew of bad episode after bad episode and barely features any good episodes (Heck, there aren't any episodes from this Season I would even consider a 9/10 or higher!)

Season 8. Seasons 6 and 7 were bad but they had something to them, season 8 has nothing besides a fun B movie ep and a solid Christmas special.

Season 9a sucks but only has 2 complete atrocities, and 4 and 5 are decent.

That's Season 9a.

As for me, my least favourite is Season 7, due to having few good episodes and no great episodes. It's not 100% bad but it's the least good.

While I appriciate that you seem to despise Squid Baby as much as I do, that episode is in Season 9A, not 8.

I don't "hate" any season, but I'll say season 6.

Season 7 is very close, but some good episodes towards the end of the season helps it out.

Not Normal, Krabby Road, Chum Bucket Supreme, Slumber Party, Overbooked, Growth Spout, Back to the Past, Bad Guy Club for Villains, Earworm and Perfect Chemistry are all episodes I can point to and say I like. Seasons 6 and 7 still have very few good episodes (Like 5-8 in total) but more than season 8 imo.

Season 6 and 7 are both equally bad. Season 6 is more of the gross-out kind of bad, while the majority of season 7 had a sheer lack of quality.
