I just came up with a fan idea for SpongeBob and wrote out an outline for it. I know it’s a little derivative of other episodes, but the idea could work if there were lots of funny gags added.

Here it is:

SpongeBob, Mr. Krabs and Squidward are having a party at the Krusty Krab. Mr. Krabs accidentally ordered too many Krabby Patties and they’re now expired, so he put together a Krabby Patty eating party to get rid of them without getting in trouble with the Bikini Bottom Health Department. Participation is mandatory for all Krusty Krab employees and every patty eaten comes out of their paycheck at full price. There’s a 100 patty minimum for all employees (management excluded.)

SpongeBob has eaten a lot of Krabby Patties and says he couldn’t eat another bite. Squidward makes a sarcastic comment about it being too bad, since he’s sure everyone would “love” to see it. SpongeBob takes him seriously and decides to do it. He asks Mr. Krabs to borrow his camera. The camera still has it’s $20 price tag on it and a tag that says “$90% off!”, but Mr. Krabs says it cost him a fortune and charges SpongeBob $4000 to use it.

SpongeBob records himself talking about how many Krabby Patties he’s eaten and how he was dared to eat one more and then precedes to eat it. Mr. Krabs realizes he could get rich selling VHS recordings of SpongeBob doing dares to people on the streets. He tells SpongeBob to do more like this, so SpongeBob records videos of himself and Patrick doing extremely lame stunts, like hugging a teddy bear and crawling around in a pile of cotton balls. Mr. Krabs explains that these videos are lame and starts daring them to do super dangerous stuff.

Once they start putting their lives at risk, the video series gets extremely popular with the citizens of Bikini Bottom and SpongeBob and Patrick become daredevil superstars. They get their own TV series, movies, and have lots of merchandise sold all across Bikini Bottom (and Mr. Krabs is gracious enough to take the profits from all of it off their hands.)

Mr. Krabs dares them to do the most dangerous stunt yet, but Squidward overhears and mentions how stupid they are for agreeing to go along with it and how dangerous it is. This scares SpongeBob and Patrick and they question if they should do it. They tell Mr. Krabs that they’re too scared to at the last minute, after he’d sold out a theater of people expecting to see it. He gets mad at them and tells them they’re a bunch of sissies, but they still refuse to do it.

Mr. Krabs informs the audience that the show is cancelled and that there are no refunds, so they angrily force him to do to stunt, which is some kind of obstacle course, fighting a killer clam, being caught by a fisherman, or something else extremely dangerous and life threatening that results in Mr. Krabs getting the crap kicked out of him.

After finding out how badly injured Mr. Krabs was, SpongeBob and Patrick realize how stupid it was to do those dares and Squidward tells them he told them so. They say “from now on, we’ll live just like you, Squidward, dull and safe...” Squidward adds “...and quiet”, so they agree to live like that, much to Squidward’s delight. They all go back to their houses, with SpongeBob and Patrick agreeing not to annoy him ever again, since they’ve seen that his way of life is best.

But then Squidward’s house explodes for no reason and his injuries are a billion times worse than Mr. Krabs’s. SpongeBob and Patrick decide to completely disregard what they said, since Squidward’s life seems more dangerous, so they decide to be as annoying as possible again and bang pots and pans and scream at the top of their lungs while Squidward is going through his life saving operation. They annoy the surgeons, causing Squidward to be horribly disfigured. He cries about it as SpongeBob and Patrick yell in his face. He cries even harder, but they tell him not to feel bad and that they’re only doing it to stay safe, since his quiet life is far to risky for them. The end.
