Title speaks for itself.

Even if you don't care for Minecraft, you have to admit, It's very impressive that a game with no advertising to have this many sales.

Minecraft might've had no advertising in its early days but I'd say it's pretty heavily marketed with Lego deals, toylines by Mattel, Telltale point and click games,t shirts, thousands of let's plays, IT BEING BOUGHT BY MICROSOFT FOR LIKE A BILLION DOLLARS


The let's plays helped it gain some popularity but I'd consider toylines and clothing marketing. It's advertising the game through other merchandise
