Hello everyone! Today we will all be voting on the best Post-Sequel Season, then Episode, and then top 5 episodes, then top 2 to see which one everyone agrees on.

Moved to Fan Favorites.

Also, I'll go for season 9(b). I really loved season 10 and season 11 is looking bright so far.

If season 11 will be as good as the last couple of episodes, I'd go with season 11, for number of reasons:
1) It would be the full 26 episodes season, 9B is half-season and 10 is just 10 half-hours episodes.
2) Season 11 so far combines best elements of season 10 and 9B - more cartoony and zany animation with crazy plots from season 10 and more calm pace and dialogue-based humor from season 9B.
3) It has at least one really good special, unlike 9B where is two mediocre specials and one really bad special. I'm not sure to consider "Feral Friends" as the special.

But as for now - season 9B.

I don't know how to pick for this when 9B and 11 look about the same right now...

Pretty much the same as Klu's picks.
  • Season 9B ultimately was more calm and had better story-telling in general, but I don't think the story concepts ever got nearly as fantastic or grand as they could in Season 10. "Sharks vs. Pods," my favorite 9B and Season 9 episode overall, still isn't quite as good as my top four Season 10 episodes.
  • Season 10, on the other hand, while its high points were higher, its low points were significantly lower. "Sportz?" is a flat-out bad episode, while "Patrick's Coupon" isn't particularly entertaining either. Many of the good episodes even have pretty strong downsides, but I applaud the season for its inventive animation and creative ideas.
  • Season 11 combines the best aspects of both. While the first handful of episodes like "The Clam Whisperer" and "Spin the Bottle" felt just "okay" to me, it's quickly been picking up with hilarious and creative episodes like "There's a Sponge in My Soup," "Teacher's Pests," and "Krabby Patty Creature Feature." Suggesting episodes like "Squid Noir" and "Doodle Dimension" which feel especially fun are still all upcoming, I'd honestly be unsurprised if this season is able to compete with, or even surpass the first three. But maybe I'm dreaming.
Best episode? Tough call between "Mimic Madness," "Teacher's Pests," and "Krabby Patty Creature Feature," but I'll go with the third, because I have an affinity for monster movie episodes.

the episode voting will be done as soon as one of the seasons reaches 20 votes.

add season 9b and 10 together, you get a full 26-episode season, that's the accounting issue they had, 15 episodes for season 9b, and 11 for season 10.

I agree with everyone else on here. We haven't seen much of Season 11 (just 10 episodes) but if it continues being as great as it is now, it could be better than 9B.

So think of it as a tie.

No, 10. Cave Dwelling Sponge, The Clam Whisperer, Spot Returns, The Check-Up, Spin the Bottle, Man Ray Returns, Larry the Floor Manager, Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom, Krabby Patty Creature Feature, and Teacher's Pests. 11 if you count There's a Sponge in my Soup.

those are what we call Segments, Episodes are 2 segments paired together, Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom is a 22 min segment, so it's 1 segment an ep for that one.

Oh okay that explains it. I've always thought of the "segments" as just "episodes". And the "episodes" as "episode sets" or something alone those lines.

There seems to be a lot of heated debate in here... nevertheless, I'll have a better approach to this here.

Since I enjoyed Season 8 and what I've seen of 9a, I could group them as part of the "Renaissance SpongeBob" club as well. Could it be mostly because I was used to them being held to a higher standard and being in an oasis of quality soon after Seasons 6-7?
Then again, about actual post-sequel episodes... 9b episodes are simpler but they definitely are of good standard and I like the art style there the best. Season 10/11 SpongeBob looks pretty rough compared to 9b, to be honest. Meanwhile those episodes have excellent plots, tons of jokes and some funny faces too I'd say. I'll just stick for 9b as it may be the safest choice.
