Games that are impressive (graphically, audibly, etc whatever) by the standards of the console they are on go here

e.g. games like Donkey Kong 64 and Conker BFD look great graphically by N64 standards

I've heard people agree Conker is impressive to the point where his game looks good enough to be an early gamecube title

Oblivion, obviously. Half of the disc may be all dialogue, but the rest pushes the hardware so much, the ps3 glitches every time!

No joke though, Skyrim pushes the limits a little.

Mafia 2 also pushed it a little bit.

The PS3 and X360 versions of GTA V. Rockstar themselves said they had to get over a lot of development limitations making it.

Pokemon Sun/Moon had a lot of corners cut to fit itself on the 3DS.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles needed 2 cartridges to get the complete experience.

EarthBound has a pretty large amount of memory dedicated to the game's soundtrack, at least by the standards of its time
most first party GameCube titles don't look that much worse than early Wii games imo

Isn't that because the Wii only has slightly better graphics compared to the gamecube lol

Another game that tried to push the limits of the NES/Famicom Disk System was The Legend of Zelda/The Hyrule Fantasy: Zeruda no Densetsu. The game packs two quests into one disk/battery-backed game pak (Nintendo called their cartridges "game paks" in the 1980s/1990s) with each quest containing an overworld filled with secrets plus nine levels each.
