Big Sister Sam: Not a very good episode. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to route for Patrick (the one who has to learn a lesson), Squidward (the one who gets pushed around and is rightfully sick of Sam) or SpongeBob (the bystander who acts like the straight man towards the whole mess). I feel unsatisfied with Squidward and SpongeBob, as they end up losing, and since Patrick doesn't learn anything, I can't route for him either. Other than that, I like the idea of Patrick having a new family member, even if I'm With Stupid did it better. 4/10
Perfect Chemistry: I'm not a big fan of toilet humour, especially when it comes to fart jokes, but the way it's handled here is pretty inventive. Not funny, but inventive. I feel good knowing it isn't the onky kind of humour this episode goes for, too. I also really like the Sandy/Plankton dynamic, since they're both scientists and represent opposite sides of morality, which leads to some pretty funny similarities and contrasts. Another thing of note is that I really like SpongeBob's characterization in this episode. He's very earnest and innocent, and the other characters call him out when he gets too silly, a far cry from the ditzy moron that he was in most episodes of this era. 8/10
