Why have people lost interest in SpongeBob?

Yeah, even though the voice actors and writers say they aren't tired of working on SpongeBob SquarePants...is that REALLY true?

Honestly, I never had a big problem with the direction of the show. But I took nearly a decade break from SpongeBob (2008ish-2018) because I was just focused on other interests. Last year, I just happened to catch an episode on TV and really got back into the show again. There are still some episodes in Seasons 5-9 that I haven't seen. But, it was exciting to come back to a show nearly a decade later and have so many new episodes to discover.

I need to rekindle this attitude toward watching the past 10-12 years' worth, myself!

I will admit I still do have a little bit of an affection for the sponge BUT I just hate the way Nick has been milking this show for everything it's worth

When/if SpongeBob SquarePants does end I will of course be sad

But as my old babysitter Mindy said "Bigger & better things are coming"!
