Plankton is more overtly and cartoonishly evil, what with the whole world domination thing and the love of torture. Mr. Krabs can be pretty horrible but it's usually more... well, "subtle" isn't the right word but it's not exactly in the realm of cartoony evil like Plankton, ya know. And Krabs does have some redeeming qualities as the wise, paternal mentor figure, he kind of swings between that and his more corrupt and greedy side.

So I guess it depends on how you look at it. Plankton's more upfront about who he is, but with Mr. Krabs it's not so black and white.

Plankton, and it's not even close IMO. I wouldn't class Mr. Krabs as "evil" at all.

They have both done bad things, but Mr. Krabs rarely sets out to hurt somebody intentionally. It's usually a side-effect of getting carried away with his greed and he sometimes shows remorse for it. Plankton, on the other hand, repeatedly makes specific plans to harm others.

I'm not saying that Mr. Krabs is a particularly wholesome guy but I don't think being cheap and greedy is as bad as wanting to take over the world.

Plankton, without a doubt, for the reasons people have already said. There's a difference between being greedy and wanting to take over the world. But even Mr. Krabs has his limits when it comes to greed- he technically stops "world domination" when those Kelp Shake stands started appearing everywhere, and even teams up with Plankton to do so. Plus, Mr. Krabs has more of a fatherly side early in the show that I'm guessing Plankton doesn't have at all.

Plankton, although I won't deny Mr. Krabs is still evil. Not just greedy, he has done some pretty evil things especially in newer episodes.

Plankton to me, mostly, you know... He does not have any original idea that is not poorly recieved most of the time (thus bringing the jealous part), he makes random contraptions to steal the formula, and all.

Is this a real question? Plankton is definitely more evil. Mr. Krabs does do bad stuff from time to time, but it's because of his greed and not naturally being evil. I feel like I have the same thoughts as pretty much everyone on here with that.

Yeah I'm gonna echo everyone here and say Plankton is more evil. Krabs can be a greedy jerk but he has been shown to have a caring side, especially towards Pearl and SpongeBob.

It varies by episode. Krabs has done some terrible things. So has Plankton. Mr. Krabs physically abused a pet, sold Spongebob's soul for 62 cents, and drove his old friend to become so afraid that he sat in the middle of the road waiting to die. Plankton took someone's brain out to put into a robotic slave, is often uncaring toward his wife, and posed as a woman to emotionally manipulate and crush his old best friend's emotions. Just a few examples. Both of them have done some pretty terrible things. But they've also both done good things. I think it really does vary.

Plankton is more over-the-top and obviously evil though, and he has done fewer good things. I won't deny that Mr. Krabs is evil in some episodes though.

It mostly depends, but I think Plankton is more evil. Mr. Krabs isn't immune to antagonistic roles that make him look like the bad guy, though.

Hitler was evil. Pol Pot was evil. Nero was evil. You can't honestly classify either of these characters as truly evil. Even though Plankton has openly admitted to being as much, he obviously doesn't understand the true definition. Yes, he wants to take over the world, but that doesn't make someone evil. That just makes him greedy and selfish and maybe a little manipulative (just like Mr. Krabs), but 'good' people have all been that way at some time or another. Plankton has never done anything truly 'evil' in my eyes, he's just the bad guy...like Manray, The Dirty Bubble, or Atomic Flounder.
It's like Dr. Doofenshmirtz; not truly evil, just a bad guy who has many good moments.
