What is your least favourite Pre-Movie season?

Analytically speaking, Season 3 is my worst season:

Season 1 Bad:Mediocre Episodes: 2:5
Season 2 Bad:Mediocre Episodes: 2:4
Season 3 Bad:Mediocre Episodes: 3:5

Season 3 is still my personal favorite, because it still had the most amazing episodes overall, even if it had more Bad/Mediocre episodes.

Except for the minor analaytic detail from Season 2-3, I'd have to agree with you. While Season 3 had more bad/meh episodes than Season 1, It's good episodes were so much better to the point where it just completely overtakes Season 1 overall. Many of Season 3's best episodes are among my favorites in the whole series!

Definitely, when a season's highs are really really high, then I can forgive a few more missteps than usual. This season's peaks are some of the best in the entire series. If I were to make a Top 10 best SB episodes, a really nice chunk would come from Season 3.

I myself happen to have 4 Season 3 episodes in my Top 10, and of those 4, 3 of them are in my Top 5.

Season 2 tbh since,

1. It doesn’t have the excuse of just starting out (ie; season 1)

2. It’s bad episodes are worse than the bad episodes from season 1 & 3

3. This season has Imitation Krabs, an episode I can’t enjoy anymore due to it being reused FOUR [Dolphin Noising) TIMES

But, Season 2 is still classic tho. Not trying to hate it
