But my top 5 genres to listen to are:

- R&B/Soul
- Pop/Rock
- Hip Hop/Rap
- Jazz
- Dance/Electronica

I like all sorts of music... I don't belong to just one genre. For me, music is endless... so I prefer to not be trapped. My all-time favorite style of music would have to be rock, but I like all sorts of stuff from every genre. I also have selections and bands that I totally dislike too.

Classic rock (as a majority)

When I'm with my friends though, I'm forced to listen to modern day bubbly top 40 pop or whatever it is that tops the Billboard Hot 100.

I also love classical music. :| Maybe it's because I've played piano for so long or I dunno... but that is also another favorite genre of mine.

However, I agree that you should not restrain yourself from all music out there, as you would probably be surprised as to what you end up liking. Tastes change.

I like listening to musical soundtracks. I also like rock and pop. I really like 80s music. I enjoy the oldies stations on Pandora too and i enjoy classical music. I don't like country much and i really don't like rap, hip hop, or screamo.
