Eid-al-Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice) 2014 was held during my 14th birthday (Mon, 6 Oct 2014). During my birthday, I was lucky that schools and colleges were cancelled. So I'm lucky that I won't be seeing bullies during my 14th birthday. I'm Roman Catholic (most of Filipinos), not Muslim. OK.

When I learned Egyptian history in school (when I was 9th grade), I heard that October 6 is holiday in Egypt because of the starting date of the Yom Kippur War. The war lasted from Oct 6-25, 1973. The war is Israel vs. Egypt.
