What Happened to Squilliam Fancyson?

Squilliam has not appeared in person since Back to the Past from Season 7, and Vincent Waller said that he won't be returning anytime soon.

Do you have any theories (real or joke) on why he hasn't appeared in over 5 seasons?

Maybe Squilliam moved to Ukulele Bottom after realizing that Squidward isn't that fun to pick around anymore... But that's my theory in my opinion...

He got caught and arrested for being a fraud to Squidward.

I like his episodes, I hope he will appear again someday.
Maybe he just doesn't want to be famous and meet Squidward anymore.
