Let's go over each and every season in the show and say what each season does the best among all the seasons.
For example:
season 1 - has the best pacing of episodes and jokes
Season 2 - has the best songs, concepts and background characters
Season 3 - has the best creativity, endings(of episodes) and animation& are style
Season 4 - has the best specials and Plankton episodes
Season 5 - has the best Krusty Krabs episodes
And say every idea of topic that can be written in this list.

ok I thought about it pretty a lot. So my list is:

Season 1 - touching moments, pacing, Sandy's episodes, art style.
Season 2- songs, Squidward's episodes, Patrick's episodes, endings of episodes.
Season 3- memes, Mrs. Puff's episodes, Mr Krabs' episodes,.
season 4- creativity and concepts,
season 5-
season 6- Plankton's episodes.
season 7-
season 8- specials.
season 9-
seasons 10 to 12- easter eggs and references to Spongebob's old episodes and jokes.

Season 1: Has the best artstyle, atmosphere, natural-sounding dialogue
Season 2: Has the best satirical concepts, character exploration, heartwarming moments
Season 3: Has the best comedy, use of Plankton and Mr. Krabs, longest masterpiece streak
Season 4: Has the best season premiere, hidden gems, experimental animation
Season 5: Has the best variety, Patchy segments (Friend Or Foe?), most interesting guest stars (R. Lee Ermey and Gene Shalit, plus the always reliable Ernest Borgnine and Tim Conway)

This is where it gets tricky.

Season 6: Has the "best" inconsistent characterization, overuse of puffy SpongeBob cheeks, unfunny Squidward torture episodes

... but just to throw in a positive, it does have the best examination of SpongeBob's personality in the Paul Tibbitt era (Not Normal).
