The ending of the great snail race

I don't know why, but a few questions are left unanswered about the ending. How come Spongebob doesn't scream when Sandy kicks his butt, he just stops laughing. Second of all, what happened to Spongebob after sandy kicked him out of the stadium, did he get severely injured, did he float to the surface, where did he land?
And did Sandy face consequences after kicking spongebobs butt, and what did Squidward and Patrick do about it?
