Compare these two covers:
Both were released around the same time (2011), say that they're a special edition even though there's only one release, are unauthorized, and have the fake reviews in the exact same style. I officially believe that A Day With SpongeBob is real given this new information.
According to the reviews, Justin Bieber is nowhere in the movie and the only time you even see a picture of him on a magazine cover. They have some random kid who apparently plays a kid who just happens to be like Bieber, but has a different name?
This whole thing sounds as ridiculously shady as the SpongeBob one that it leads me to believe that it's put out by the same people. The company name is different, but given how little we can find about the SpongeBob company, my guess is it's some scam artists putting out awful quality films that people will accidentally buy thinking it's something else. The questionable legality of doing could mean that they don't keep a consistent company name so that it's harder to sue them. Just think of how hard it would be for Nick or Justin Bieber's lawyers to take legal action against them if they wanted to now, their company seems non-existent.
If anyone wants to actually buy this thing, it could give us some idea of the level of "quality" that the SpongeBob mockumentary would have. It's only five bucks on Amazon, if anyone wants to get it, please share what you saw.
Here's the Amazon link.
Edit: I just realized the name of the company on the cover and the Amazon description aren't even consistent. The company on the SpongeBob cover is INOVISIM FILMS and the one Amazon is Video Music, Inc. If you buy my theory that the Justin Bieber one is them too, they go by FLASH LIGHT ENTERTAI on the Amazon description of that. I think that this supports my theory that they just use generic names and don't have a consistent one in order to avoid a lawsuit from their illegal movies.
